Desktop decentralized MLP personalization solution for ePassport issuance.
The MLP MiniBook is a compact desktop system that personalizes polycarbonate datapage ePassports with the Multi-Layer Personalization security process. It reaches the same quality as the centralized MLP ProBook in a footprint that fits an issuing office, which makes it suited to small and medium-volume programmes and to decentralized issuance networks.

The print heads clean themselves automatically, keeping print quality stable between batches.
Security and colour on one datapage
Laser engraving with 256 grey levels, MLI, embossed Braille and micro text combine with full-color UV printing on the polycarbonate datapage, and the paper observation page can carry matching colour. Register cameras position each process, and a protection layer with security varnish seals the personalized data.
