Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how IDMETRIX s.r.o. processes personal data when you visit idmetrix.eu or contact us through it. We process personal data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is IDMETRIX s.r.o., Lermontovova 911/3, 811 05 Bratislava – Old Town, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 54 507 715, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, Section Sro, Insert No. 159795/B. Email: ask@idmetrix.eu.
We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to. For any question about your data, write to ask@idmetrix.eu.
What data we process and why
When you use the contact form. We receive your first and last name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, country and company website. We use this data only to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to one, to prepare and discuss a possible business relationship. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you email us directly. We process your email address, the content of your message and any details you include, for the same purpose and on the same legal basis.
When you browse the site. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the site and keep it secure, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These server logs are kept for a short period by the hosting provider and are not used to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Website analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by Vercel Inc., to understand how the site is used and how fast it loads. They collect pages visited, referrer, country, browser and device type, and page load timings. They set no cookies and store nothing on your device. Visits are counted with an anonymous identifier that resets every 24 hours, so you cannot be recognized across days or across other websites, and we only see aggregated statistics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your cookie choice. When you accept or decline cookies, we store that choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. See our Cookie Policy.
You are not required to give us any personal data, but we cannot reply to an enquiry without a way to contact you. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
Who receives your data
Your data is seen only by IDMETRIX staff who need it to handle your enquiry. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Vercel Inc. (USA), which hosts the website and provides the analytics described above;
- WebSupport s.r.o. (Slovakia), which provides our email service.
We may disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
Vercel Inc. is based in the United States. Where data is transferred there, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless it leads to a contract, in which case we keep it for as long as the law requires us to retain business records. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period and then deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict how we process your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To use any of these rights, write to ask@idmetrix.eu. We will reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.

We may update this policy when our website or the way we process data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
